Business Objects Architect/Developer

The Ideal Candidate will have BI architecture expertise for Business Objects Business Intelligence technologies; as well as be hands on Universe and Webi developer. In addition the incumbent will drive project scoping; mentor others; have industry specific experience, 8+ years experience in the field with a minimum of 5 years with Business Objects Business Intelligence Technologies
The incumbent will utilize Business Objects reporting capabilities (Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboard, Xcelsius, etc.) to generate reports and work collaboratively with report designers to design/create/modify mission-critical Business Object’s Universes to support end-user reporting.
The responsibilities of this Business Objects Architect/Developer will include:
- Develop methodologies for measuring the clinical outcomes of various care management programs.

Design and Develop Universes based on reporting requirements to include aggregate awareness, derived tables, and linked universes, row-level security as needed. Create universes from multiple sources.
- Design and Develop Web Intelligence Reports and Dashboards as required.
- Perform Business Objects software upgrades as needed
- Perform Business Intelligence Administration responsibilities in Business Objects
- Interface and lead discussions with the System Services organization for configuration of Business Intelligence infrastructure
- Performance tune universes and reports as required
- Perform source system analysis as required

Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Business Objects XIR2 (Web intelligence, desktop intelligence reporting, universe designing )
- Minimum of 5 years of technical or application architect experience on several large-scale, enterprise level projects.
- Minimum of 4 years experience with LDAP and AD authentication methods
- Applied background in Data Warehousing concepts and techniques required
- Up to date Knowledge of Business Objects core products to a high standard
- Background in at least one RDBMS system – DB2 preferable , will consider Oracle, SQL Server

Description:
The Data Warehouse ETL Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. The responsibilities of this Data Integrator XI Developer / Data Warehouse ETL Developer will include:
- Develop ETL processes (generally with DB2 SQL and Business Objects Data Integrator) and validation code between source systems and the corporate data warehouse.
- Design, develop, load and support data-marts.
- ETL performance tuning.
- Design, implement and ETL in the support of a Dimensional Model including type 2 slowly changing dimensions.
