NDMA Technology Showcased at RSNA 2006; iPod shuffle Winners Announced

12 December 2006 – RSNA 2006 attendees in Chicago, Illinois, USA, were among the first to see first-hand the latest NDMA technology that is changing the way the industry thinks about archiving.

Booth traffic was brisk, and attendees actively participated in demonstrations, including:

  • NDMA Direct – clinicians saw on-demand results delivery and reviewed images using PDAs and other wireless devices
  • NDMA Citizens Health Portal, myNDMA.com – attendees saw how patients link directly from their private medical locker to the patient data their healthcare provider is storing on their behalf in the NDMA

"The kiosks were very busy each day of the conference," said Diane Hockstein, NDMA's vice president of marketing. "The interactive nature of the live demonstrations truly illustrated how NDMA is the driver connecting healthcare facilities."

She continued, "NDMA technology is at the forefront of emerging trends, such as the proliferation of the use of mobile and wireless technology in hospitals. Solutions like myNDMA and NDMA Direct are what distinguish NDMA from those companies merely offering archiving services."
